Resources
The Institute for Health Alignment provides a set of core documents and supporting materials that explain the Health Promotion Alignment Framework and support its interpretation, application, and further development.
These materials do not function as isolated publications. Taken together, they form a structured body of work, from conceptual foundations and strategic architecture to reference tools, implementation supports, and briefing and communication materials.
How to use these materials
Different readers will approach this work from different starting points. The White Paper, Framework Diagram, and Infographic provide the fullest account of the Framework’s rationale, structure, and logic. The Primer offers a shorter introduction.
For readers concerned with practical application, the Reference Tables and sample Action Plan provide further guidance when read alongside the core Framework materials.
Taken together, these materials are intended to support informed engagement with the Framework in policy, strategic planning, governance, and longer-term implementation contexts.

Positive outcomes and influencing factors reference tables

Health Promotion Alignment Framework – Sample Action Plan
An illustrative national-level application showing how the framework can be operationalised through coordinated policy action, cross-sector alignment, and implementation supports.
It is particularly useful for readers seeking to understand how governments can translate the framework into practical arrangements such as coordination mechanisms, outcome monitoring capacity, and other supports for sustained implementation.
